Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Linefinder website. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

1. About us

This site is operated under the name Linefinder by an independent publisher. You can contact us at [email protected].

2. What this site is

Linefinder is an independent information and comparison service. We are not a broadband provider, we are not an agent for any provider, and we do not sell, supply, install, activate or support any service. We do not take payments for broadband, and we never ask for your bank details.

Nothing on this site is financial, legal or technical advice. It is general information intended to help you compare options before you buy directly from a provider.

3. Accuracy of information

Prices, speeds, contract terms and availability change frequently and can differ by postcode. Where we show a price, we tell you the date it was last checked, and we display a warning once that data starts to age.

Even so, the information on this site may be out of date or incomplete. The price and terms that apply to you are the ones shown on the provider's own website at the moment you order. Always confirm before buying.

4. Third-party websites

We link to provider websites and other third parties. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, prices or practices. Following a link does not make us a party to any contract you enter into with them.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, copy or republish substantial parts of this site without permission;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or related systems;
  • use the site in a way that interferes with other users, or that is unlawful or fraudulent;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us.

6. Intellectual property

The design, layout, text and graphics of this site belong to us or are used with permission. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their owners and are used for identification purposes only. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal use; any other use requires our written permission.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time, including content and features.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on information on this site, from any contract you enter into with a provider, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.

9. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here at the time you use the site is the version that applies.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
